Troubles

Troubles

The water flowed from head to toe,
The drops fell to the floor,
Wiped away the endless tears,
Walked out the door;

Struggled with the tension,
Forced to go on with strain,
Broke down, sat and cried,
Amongst fountains of pouring rain;

Wind swept the tears aside,
The troubles gone away,
They were there to put me right,
I hope they're here to stay;

When I held you close,
You captured my every breath,
Now the feelings are there,
They'll be here until death.
