Pride is all I ask of you

Pride is all I ask of you

The puerility in your complaints,
The demanded prosperity of your eyes,
Your proponent arguments,
Your sheaf of lies;

With your shoal on your back,
Virago is how you appear,
With your careless disbelief,
I can tell when you're near;

Vociferous is your voice,
You're the linchpin of the start,
To win is the incentive,
Not to play full of heart;

You appear inconsistent,
Your imperative changing mood,
Your immovable beliefs,
Decisions sometimes crude;

On one hand you're the motivator,
Grasping and taking the lead,
But when your game is at a loss,
Your motif is for greed;

You take pride when you achieve,
But when you don't you show brutality,
Therefore my message to you both friend and foe,
Is learn to lose with dignity
