K

K

As the wind blows,
The dark air brings a chill,
The stars oh so bright,
The moon oh so still;

The clock's moving slowly,
The living fast asleep,
The nightly noise-
Affecting those who don't fall deep;

The sky shows off its beauty,
With clouds you can not see,
And dreamers dream their dreams,
Of which they wish to be;

I lay here in the silence,
Thinking of my love,
How she lay also for a while,
Looking up above;

She has a certain beauty,
Smiles a secret smile,
I wish she lay here in my arms,
If only for a while;

One day I'll get to hold her,
Keep her warm at night,
Whisper to her sweetly,
That all will be alright;

But for now I must be patient,
Wait out and be at ease,
Take care and be careful,
Weathering the future stormy seas;

I wish to her good morning,
As to her goodnight,
I give to her my heart and soul,
I hope will bring delight.
